David Atherton takes the chair at Entatech UK

David AthertonEntatech today announced the appointment of David Atherton as Chairman of Entatech UK Limited.

The company is strengthening its management structure with the appointment of David Atherton who will chair the existing board of directors – namely Dave Stevinson, Rob Davis and Colin Lee. Entatech have invested heavily throughout 2015 with a new ERP and analytics system and the company is now reaping the benefits of the system efficiencies and operational effectiveness.

Earlier this month Entatech UK launched version 6.04 of their trade-only ecommerce website with syndicated content and capabilities for authorised reseller partners. On Monday Entatech announced the launch of their revised product focus, narrowing the product categories and vendors to gain increased relevance with clients and vendors.

David Atherton was the founder of Dabs.com, one of the earliest online retailers of IT equipment, which he built from nothing to over £200M revenue per annum. He sold the business to BT plc in 2006, and has since worked as an angel investor and as a partner in an accountancy firm.
