    EntaTech have now finalised their line-up of events, and all IT resellers are invited to come along. Existing and none EntaTech customers are welcome to their amazing variety of events which include workshops, demo days and meetings covering many aspects of technology and the many opportunities available. A brand new event has also been added to the EntaTech Live line up, which is a workshop focusing on Inventory management, asset and ePOS software and systems. This event is being supported by Wasp Barcode technology, iiyama and Shuttle who have a unique ePOS proposition. But first up is their Security & Networking meeting which is taking place at the glorious Mariott Hotel, Edinburgh on Thursday 6th October and IT resellers in the area are all invited to attend. There will be three manufacturers on the day: Billion who are covering Networking, Swann Security covering DIY CCTV and Dlink who will be going over IP surveillance and how this links to network solutions. Security is a huge area of opportunity for the IT channel and EntaTech intend to highlight this and bring advice, demo’s and key expert manufacturers to Edinburgh through their first EntaTech Live event.     EntaTech has signed up to support the inaugural PC Retail Awards, by becoming event partner for the ceremony due to be held at The Café Royal in London, on March 13th 2008

    Speaking about its partnership with the awards, Enta's group vice president, Jon Atherton said: "It is a great opportunity to sponsor the first PC Retail Awards and be associated with the magazine, the success of PC Retail and Enta over the last two years gave me no hesitation in sponsoring the event."

    Dealer group continues to welcome resellers as exhibition space reaches full capacity Synaxon has had to turn a number of potential exhibitors away due to the popularity of the next week's event in Cheshire. Over 100 of the group's members are now registered for the event, which takes place at De Vere Wychwood Park hotel and golf complex 8-9 September 2011. Leading motivational speaker Sean McPheat* is providing the keynote address on the theme of Making Business Easy, setting the tone for the two-day conference and networking event.

    The main talks and presentations will take place on the first day with a summer barbeque, live music laid on for the evening with a sponsored bar and a golf day scheduled for the second. Synaxon will also be presenting its first UK Supplier and Partner Awards at the event. Among the 45 suppliers exhibiting are lead sponsors, Acer and Fujitsu, along with Microsoft, Samsung, Intel, Lenovo, Autotask, Ingram Micro, VIP Computers, Entatech.     UK distributor Entatech has picked up exclusive channel rights for theft deterrent and video solutions vendor Securesight’s products. Securesight is the latest manufacturer to announce an exclusive distribution deal with EntaTech, other exclusive manufacturers include Arctic, Gainward, Eclipse, AC Ryan, Innergie, Sandberg and Swann. The Securesight deal means EntaTech will distribute the vendor’s exciting security range including the VL1-B security light with camera, a deterrent solution that automatically records high quality photos or videos onto an SD card whenever movement is detected day or night as well as illuminating a 500w floodlight. Securesight will form part of the CCTV and security division at Entatech.

    The managed Switching workshop, being held on 29th June will provide attendees with hands-on training with a senior Netgear VAR engineer and will also include an introduction to layer 2 and layer 3 switch models and features.

    The business wireless solutions technical workshop, being held on 30th June will be an informal training session providing installers with an opportunity to receive hands-on training and a technical overview of the new ProSafe™ Netgear Wireless Management System WMS5316 and new ProSafe Wireless Controller WC7520.

    EntaTech announce winner of £2000 Thomson Vouchers from their Spread the Love Campaign

    Throughout the month of February, EntaTech ran their spreading the love promotion working alongside 20 participating suppliers to bring their resellers focus days and special offers everyday through the month. This promotion also included daily prizes with a grand finale prize at the end of the month.

    The finale prize of £2000 Thomson Holiday Vouchers was drawn from all resellers who had purchased from the participating suppliers during February and has been awarded to one lucky reseller - Micro Plus Computers. Speaking at the presentation of the vouchers Chris Innes, Director at Micro Plus comments on the prize “It was a lovely surprise to find out we had won the Thomson Vouchers and I plan to use these vouchers to put a sales incentive in place for my sales team so that they can benefit from it. I would like to say a big thank you to EntaTech.”

    EntaTech release an update to iPhone App

    EntaTech launched its free application for iPhone and iPods at the end of 2010 and has been very well received by its customers.

    Now in excess of 220 active users, the application allows EntaOnline features to be utilised on the move. A further update to the app which was recently released allows users to add products to a watchlist through the device and then receive push notifications or an email once the product is back in stock. It has also been made clearer to use on the order page where product description and dispatch date has now also been incorporated.

    These new features are in addition to the great functionality that was already present on the app from the start such as the entire product portfolio at your fingertips using a keyword or category search. The full description and images are available throughout the 8500 product catalogue and allows products to be added to a saved list which can be used to complete the order from a computer at a later time.

    The app also offers a scanning facility where a product’s barcode can be scanned by the device and will then return the results along with product specification and available stock which allows resellers to compare and compile a product list on the go.
